                      Entertainers - Jim Witter and The Piano Men and
                      Danny Diaz

This annual, star-studded charity event raises funds for disadvantaged children who don’t have the financial means to play community sports. Since 1999, the Foundation has helped more than 3,500 youth achieve their sports ambitions.

Who Benefits?

2003 S’port Grant Recipients -

• Children’s Aid Foundation – created the S’port for Kids Play Fund for youth in foster care across Canada

• Pathways Drop-In Centre, Richmond Hill – sports equipment to support homeless youth

• ASSIST Community Services Centre, Edmonton Alberta - to help Asian immigrant children and families

• Zardasht Oqab, aged 16, three-time Ontario wrestling champion

Multi-year S’port Grant Recipients -

• Yonge Street Mission - after-school sports programs, 3-4 days a week

• Toronto City Mission – soccer programs in Malvern and St. James Town communities

• Regent Park Community Centre – supports hockey house league
