 In
promotion of the DVD release of the sleeper hit Bend
it Like Beckham, Twentieth Century Fox made a contribution
to the S'port for Kids Foundation.
Media on-hand included Claude Feig and Pauline Chan
from CFTO News, Catherine Humphrey from CP24, Allan
Leung from Ming Pao News. Global Television was also
at the event.
The media had a chance to learn how to Bend it
like Beckham! Craig Forrest former Canadian Men's
National Team soccer player was on-hand to teach soccer
basics and some tricks. Bend it Like Beckham for charity
coincided with the FIFA 2003 Women's World Cup finals.
The Twentieth Century Fox "Bent it Like Beckham"
project was organized by Lisa Lupynec and Jennifer
Alsop from Media Profile.
