Chair
Earl Dusek began his cable career in 1974 with
Maclean Hunter Cable Television. He held numerous positions
throughout his years with Maclean Hunter. Earl joined
Rogers Cable in 1995.
Earl has been actively involved in industry associations
holding various positions including serving on the Board
of Directors of both the OCTA (Ontario Cable Television
Telecommunication Association, and the CCTA (Canadian
Cable Television Association).
Earl is currently the Communications Chair for the
Heroes of Hope Campaign. This Campaign is committed
to raising 30 million dollars to build a cancer facility
at Lakeridge Health's Oshawa Site. The Heroes of Hope
Campaign's goal is bringing cancer care closer to home.
From 1999 to 2001 Earl sat on the Board of the Ajax
Pickering United Way. Early in his career he was very
active in recreation where he sat on the Ajax Recreational
Advisory Committee. During this time he received two
awards and acknowledgment for his volunteer contributions
from the Ontario Municipal Recreation Association.
Earl has a Radio and Television Arts Diploma from Niagara
College and is a graduate of the Canadian Institute
of Management, where he holds the designation of P.Mgr.
(Professional Manager).
