Robert Garner is an individual whose main objective is to contribute and remain committed to the welfare and success of children across Canada. He was the Coordinating School Superintendent, of the Toronto District School Board from 1997 to 1998, responsible for the North-East Education Office representing 5 school superintendents. He was also a School Superintendent, for Wards 9 and 10 of the Toronto Board of Education, from 1990 to 1998. Robert has functioned as a School Principal, Vice-Principal and Teacher throughout Ontario.

During his career and personal life he has been committed to the well-being and success of children in the classroom and beyond. Robert Garner is a leader, who has demonstrated the ability to motivate people and groups, to achieve goals and initiatives, and to manage change effectively. In addition, he has developed and presented many system-wide and international professional development activities. Presently Robert is active with the Public School Athletic Association as a coach, volunteer and president. He is the Executive Vice-President of the Inner City Angels, an organization committed to bringing arts into inner city public school classrooms.

Robert has completed several Ministry of Education courses in Education. Furthermore, he has attended several national and international conferences focusing on curriculum, budgets and management techniques.
