Glenn Ventrcek, C.A., C.M.A. is a partner for BDO Canada LLP. He has over 13 years experience providing accounting, auditing and related services to public, private and not-for-profit organizations. Glenn primarily focuses on not-for-profit services for pension plans, associations, unions, and benefit funds.

Glenn is a strong advocate of teambuilding through sports. As a youngster, he was involved in various team sports such as soccer, hockey, baseball, volleyball, tennis, track and field, cycling, golf and bowling. While attending Brock University, he co-captained the varsity cross-country running team. Glenn received his Bachelor of Accounting in 1994, his Chartered Accountant’s designation in 1997 and his Certified Management Accountant’s designation in 1998. Glenn moved to Melbourne Australia for an 18 month work secondment in 1999. While there, he attended various sporting events such as the 2000 Olympics and Australia Rules Football matches.

Glenn has been an instructor for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, a volunteer financial panel member for the United Way, a CMA Board Panel member and has taught at Ryerson for students pursuing their Certified Employee Benefit Specialist designation.
