Chris Wei

Chris Wei was Vice President of Actuarial, Strategy and Corporate Development for the Allstate Canada Family of Companies, made up of Allstate Insurance Company of Canada and Pembridge Insurance Company. Chris leads in the development of corporate strategy, and is responsible for pricing, corporate reserving and reinsurance for all product lines across the country.

Chris is a graduate of the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Actuarial Science. He is an Associate of the Casualty Actuary Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Chris' past experience includes a role as VP of Far East Business Development for United Guaranty Corporation (a member of AIG Group) and prior to this, Chris was VP of Research and Development for ING Canada.

Chris was the past Chair for the S'port for Kids Foundation. He also was an active fundraiser for the University of Toronto Varsity Fund and U of T Breakthrough Campaign. He was also a member of a number of fundraising committees for the Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care, including the Planned Giving Committee and Dragon Ball Organizing Committee.

Throughout his high school and university years Chris was involved in soccer, tennis, squash, volleyball, cricket and rugby. His current sports interests include tennis, golf, squash and soccer.
