Tracy
Wilson, is an Olympic Medallist, Sport Analyst,
and Member of the Order of Canada. All these words describe
the phenomenal career Tracy Wilson has lived.
Tracy and her partner
Robert McCall skated to many victories the list includes
seven Canadian National Championships, the 1988 World
Professional Ice Dancing Championship and three World
Championship Bronze medals. The highlight of their career
was in the 1988 Calgary Olympics when they skated to
a bronze medal, being also the first Canadian Ice Dance
Team to win a medal at an Olympic Winter Games. In the
same year they were granted a spot in the Canadian Olympic
Hall of Fame and were both appointed to the Order of
Canada.
Tracy then began a
career in television sports in 1990. She has served
as a figure skating host, analyst and reporter in Canada
for CTV and TSN and in the United States for CBS, NBC
and Turner Sports. Tracy was with CBS from 1990 to 2001
and during that time covered the 1992, 1994 and 1998
Winter Olympics. She joined NBC for the 2002 Winter
Olympics In Salt Lake City. Tracy's experience and likeable
presence has established her as one of the premier analyst
in sports.
Among Tracy's accomplishments
she has three children and she currently resides in
Toronto.
