S'port for Kids has partnered with the Children's Aid Foundation; assisting children with participation in organized sports. Sport participation is no longer viewed as simply a means of keeping people busy. It is recognized as a support for the development of individuals, helping them gain a positive identity and overcoming personal and social difficulties. On Sunday December 21, 2008, S'port for Kids presented a cheque to the Children's Aid Foundation. We will continue to partner and help kids who need it most.

Raising awareness for a cause...
Shannon Forletta and Jennifer Trumble, students of Seneca College, started the “Suckers for Sports” campaign (selling gourmet lollipops), in 2007. Their effort raised over $400 for S’port for Kids in the name of the late Ben
W. Berry, who was passionate about life and dedicated himself to helping kids in need. They took time to raise awareness about the S'port for Kids Foundation and our efforts to help children in need.
We would like to thank both of them, along with all who helped to make this campaign a success! Participation in our communities will contribute to the development of responsible citizens, business leaders and stronger communities.
