TORONTO MEDIA PERSONALITIES TAKE CHARITIES
FOR A RIDE AND WIN!
IT’S
THE ONTARIO INSTANT MILLIONS MEDIA CHARITY CHALLENGE
Toronto media personalities are
taking their favourite charities for a ride,
but it’s the charities that will win up
to $15,000 with the ONTARIO INSTANT MILLIONS
MEDIA CHARITY CHALLENGE!
What: The charity
challenge will feature Toronto Media personality
contestants playing a version of a scratch and
win game, with each guaranteed to win at least
$2,000 and as much as $5,000 for a favoured
charity. The backdrop is a GO Train, completely
decorated as the famed Orient Express - one
of the actual prizes of the current Ontario
Instant Millions promotion.
Who: Etobicoke-Lakeshore
MPP Laurel Broten will be on hand to award the
cheques to the charities. The Media personalities
attending are Pauline Chan from CFTO News, Christine
Crosbie from Global News and Sarika Sehgal from
Toronto 1. Local City Councillor Mark Grimes
will also participate.
Where: Heated
tent at GO’s Willowbrook Train Yard at
125 Judson Street (Lakeshore Blvd. and Islington
Avenue). QEW exit at Islington, head south towards
Lakeshore Blvd, second street is Judson, turn
left (east), turn right onto the first driveway.
Park to the left in front of GO train tracks.
When: Thursday,
January 8, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Event expected
to run 45 minutes.
ONTARIO INSTANT MILLIONS tickets,
and information on how to win the trip on the
Orient Express, are now available province-wide
at more than 10,000 lottery retailers, and on
the OLGC website (www.OLGC.ca).
