to our winner - Dr. H Poon with ticket

 On
November 30 at 1:00pm: Hillcrest Mall,
we had drawn our winner,
Dr. H Poon.
Board of directors and committee
members like Sandra Fong, Lynton Friedberg,
Chris Wei, Michael Fong, Cathy Leung-Rusnek,
Patty Loveland, Robert McDowell, Frank Mo, Irene
Mo, Lucy Yuan, Eva Smolak (Senior Marketing
Director of the Cadillac Fairview Corporation),
Maria Yuan (youth member) and Alex Yuan (Director
& President) were at hand to witness and celebrate
the Raffle for S'port for Kids project to its
closing.
Lynton Friedberg (vice chair
of S'port for Kids Foundation) did the drum
rolling, Robert McDowell (donor of the $1,000
certificate) drew the winning ticket, and Alex
Yuan announced and confirmed the winning ticket.
ROGERS Television was also on hand to
film the process and will be in the news tonight.
ROGERS donated the "Raffle
for S'port for Kids" banner and paid for
the printing cost of the tickets. In August
and early September, we were selling Raffle
Tickets at the HillCrest Mall. Town of Richmond
Hill, Mayor Bill Bell, Town of Markham, Mayor
Don Cousens, Pauline Chan from CFTO News also
help to sell at the mall.
 Krispy
Kreme Doughnuts also partnered with us and
supported our Campaign. The Raffle for S’port
for Kids project raised $2,600.
We want to thank everyone helping
at the project. Especially Terry O'Connor who
came to our offices and bought 20% of our ticket
sold. You ALL are the true winners, and
the children at S'port for Kids thank you!
