Rogers Cable announced that the S’port
for Kids Foundation will receive the $10,000
raised via the annual Rogers Cable Golf Classic.
The Rogers Golf Classic Co-chairs;
Bill Lukewich, VP/GM, Rogers Cable GTA, Earl
Dusek, VP/GM, Rogers Cable SYD and Michael Krstajic,
VP MDU Sales will make a cheque presentation
to the S’port for Kids Foundation following
the tournament on June 28th, 2004 at Eagle’s
Nest Golf Club, York Region’s newest golf
course.
Earl Dusek has personally supported
the S’port for Kids Foundation for several
years by volunteering his time as the Chair
for their Gala Fundraiser. “I am a firm
believer in this organization and I am truly
excited that Rogers Cable selected S’port
for Kids as the recipient charity of the Rogers
Golf Classic proceeds,” said Dusek.
The S’port for Kids Foundation
is dedicated to improving the quality of life
for today’s youth by providing them with
an opportunity to participate in healthy sporting
activities. Their main objective is to foster
a strong sense of self worth, teamwork, leadership
and community through organized sport. S’port
for Kids relies exclusively on charitable contributions
and special events to raise the funds necessary
to support organized sporting activities. One
hundred percent of the dollars raised by The
S’port for Kid Foundation are directed
to these essential programs.
