June 20th, 2005 - Rogers Cable announced that the S’port for Kids Foundation will receive $10,000 raised from their annual golf tournament for the Rogers Cable VIP, staff and suppliers. This was the second year Rogers Cable presented a $10,000 donation to support our cause. S’port for Kids Foundation Chairman Earl Dusek, Director Sean Murphy, committee member Rebecca Edgar and many friends from Rogers Cable were at the cheque presentation.

Earl Dusek has personally supported the S’port for Kids Foundation for several years by volunteering his time with the S’port for Kids Foundation. The S’port for Kids Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life for today’s youth by providing them with an opportunity to participate in healthy sporting activities. Their main objective is to foster a strong sense of self worth, teamwork, leadership and community through organized sport. S’port for Kids relies exclusively on charitable contributions and special events to raise the funds necessary to support organized sporting activities. One hundred percent of the dollars raised by The S’port for Kids Foundation are directed to these essential programs.
