With the help of Michael D. Ford, Scotiabank, of the Markville Shopping Centre, has made a contribution to the S'port For Kids Foundation by donating 100 tickets to the Toronto Argonauts for the June 15th game. With these tickets, S’port for Kids is able to send children from the Regent Park, Yonge Street Mission and Stay in School and Keep the Peace Basketball to attend the game which otherwise they will not be able to afford for the experience.

With supporters like Scotiabank, we can provide underprivileged children the tools to becoming model citizens and business leaders for tomorrow. Without your help, many children will continue to suffer. The S'port for Kids Foundation intends to raise the necessary funds to help less fortunate kids participate in and benefit from organized sport. Grants from the S’port for Kids Foundation created various after-school activities, better equipment and summer camp programs. In result over 4,700 children are now able to participate in these newly organized programs. Unfortunately the proceeds raised have not been enough, as thousands of children are still found wandering the streets with no sense of belonging or value.
