12/22/2009 - The S'port for Kids Foundation continues to support the mission of providing children with safe and supportive environments. "Sports programs will expose children to leadership and team-building skills and provide the positive reinforcement and encouragement they require to stay in school and succeed". For years the Yonge Street Mission has been meeting the needs of people and our thanks to all who helped with the continued support of the foundation.

12/21/2008 - S'port for Kids has partnered with the Children's Aid Foundation; assisting children with participation in organized sports. Sport participation is no longer viewed as simply a means of keeping people busy. It is recognized as a support for the development of individuals, helping them gain a positive identity and overcoming personal and social difficulties. On Sunday December 21, 2008, S'port for Kids presented a cheque to the Children's Aid Foundation. We will continue to partner and help kids who need it most.

06/17/2008 - On Tuesday June 17, 2008 at the Pembridge Corporate Head Office in Markham, Ontario, staff displayed their support as President Bob Tisdale presented S’port for Kids President Alexander Yuan a cheque for $5,000. As part of the Pembridge commitment to give back to our communities by actively supporting youth in sport, Pembridge has been a proud supporter of S’port for Kids.

05/05/2008 - Kelsey's donated $2,500 to S’port for Kids. On May 5, 2008 our foundation Director and President, Alex Yuan was on hand to receive the donation from Kelsey's.

04/21/2008 - Cora opened their 91st Franchise restaurant in Richmond Hill. The S'port for Kids Foundation was Cora's charity of choice and donated $2700 to the foundation. Our former Mayor Bill Bell and our ambassador to the foundation Pauline Chan joined us to receive the donation.

06/27/2007 - On June 26, 2007 Rogers Cable donated $10,000 to S’port for Kids. Rogers V.P. and our foundation chair – Earl Dusek was at the golf tournament to present the cheque to the foundation.

05/12/2007 - Pembridge teams up with S'port for Kids as a Corporate Gold Sponsor; looking forward to building community awareness of the beneficial effects of sport.

05/15/2006 - Catch the S'port For Kids 2006 Gala on Rogers.
